The Championships are open to any financial member of the Apollo Bay Golf Club.
All players must have an official Australian Handicap.
The 54 holes competition is played over three consecutive rounds of 18 holes on 3 Sundays in October.
Play shall be from the permanent markers.
A competition fee of $5.00 is payable each Sunday.
The Championships will be played in 3 grades and the Match Committee will decide the handicaps for each grade once the entries have been finalised. Equivalent numbers in each grade is the objective.
Names to be posted by 5pm of the Saturday before each round. At those times draws for time slots will be made for the following day, with foursomes made up of players in the same grade wherever possible, except for round 1 where nomination time slots will be used.
A player reducing or extending his handicap on the first round will still play in the original grade for the Championship.
N/P will be played on holes 1/10 and 9/18.
The Club Champion will be the player with the best gross score overall. The runner up will be the player with the next best gross score overall. The Champion and runner rp in the other grades will be the players with the best and second best gross scores in their grades.
In the event of a tie in any grade a play off will take place as soon as possible on the last day comprising holes 1, 2 & 9. If players are still tied play to be sudden death over the same holes until a result is obtained.
Championship trophies will be presented.
The Veterans Championship is for members 60 years and over. This is a nett event over 18 holes.
The Junior Championship is for players under 18 years of age and played over three rounds.
