Wednesday July 26:

Men’s 4-week stroke competition, one grade only, was won by Lance Thomas and the runner-up was David Hand. Nearest the pin on 1st/10th for A Grade was Chris Hansen and in B. Grade Lance Thomas. Ian Richardson was Nearest the pin on 9th /18th.

Monday July 24:

Women’s 9 hole stableford competition was won by Caroline Wren with 14 points on a count-back from Jeanette Dodds, who was runner-up.

Sunday July 23:

Men’s 18 hole stroke competition. Eight contenders produced the following results: Bob Bedson, 10, won with a nett 63, and Bernie Coller was runner-up 82-16-66. Nearest the pin 1st/10th were Colin Coleman in A Grade and Lance Thomas in B Grade.

Monday July 17th:

9 Holes stroke won by Sandra Toone 52-13-39. Runner-up was Adele Rowarth 52-12 ½-39 ½ . The putting winner was Sami Oguzhan with 15 putts.
Numbers of players were down due to many being in Merimbula for the annual week of golf and the consistent windy, wintery weather during the last several days.

Sunday July 16th

Men’s event was cancelled

Thursday July 13th:

The 18 hole stroke event was cancelled due to extreme weather conditions.

Wednesday July 12th:

18 hole stableford men’s competition was won in A Grade by Ian Richardson with 38 points and A Grade runner-up Geoff Vesey with 37 points. In B Grade David Hand was the winner in a count-back from runners-up Ian Robinson and Bruce Thomas all with 38 points. Nearest the pin on 1st/10th A grade was Kurt Rixon and in B Grade Alan Rowarth was closest. On the 9th/18th Ian Richardson was nearest for A Grade and Charlie Barnett for B Grade.

Monday July 10th:

9 Holes Stableford and Mystery Pair. The players got drenched during the last two holes played, however, Vicki Hannah won the event with 15 points on a count-back from Marriette Deppeler. The mystery pair with the best score was Debbie Biggs and Jenny Burke.

Sunday July 10th

Men’s Par Championship round 3 was postponed due to rain and not enough competitors to hold the event.

Thursday July 7th:

Women’s 18 hole Stableford event. Despite the glorious weather only 10 contenders vied for the trophies. It wasn’t a high scoring event but the eventual winners were Vicki Hannah with 27 points, and Sandra Toone runner-up with 26 points.
